West Point Community Radio

 

LICENSING INFORMATION

Part 15 of the FCC Rules and Regulations provides for the operation of certain

"micro-power" broadcast stations, provided their operation does not interfere

with licensed stations operating on the same (co-channel) or adjacent frequencies.

On the FM broadcast band, the maximum signal level allowed for unlicensed radio stations

is 250 uV/m at a distance of three meters from the transmitting antenna.

On the AM broadcast, the maximum power output allowed per transmitter is 100mW, with an antenna not exceeding 3 meters. 

All of West Point Community Radio's radio stations operate within these parameters providing coverage to West Point, a small community in

Montgomery County, PA.   Additional coverage to both the community and the world is provided

via live streamz on the internet listenable with Windows Media Player, Winamp, or Real Player.
