Exaltation 1700: Praise, Worship, and Dynamic Christian Teaching

         What We Believe

Exaltation 1700  is a ministry that is committed to the proclamation of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and encouraging his people to grow spiritually.  This is reflected in the select teaching programs that we bring you.  A general overview of acceptable doctrinal standards in our programming can be found in the following Statement of Faith:

Exaltation 1700 Statement of Faith

  1. We believe in the plenary inspiration of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, that they constitute the Word of God, and are therefore infallible, inerrant, and contain all information necessary for one's eternal salvation.

  2. We believe that there is one God; that He exists in three persons:  the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and that within this Godhead all three are equal in power and glory.

  3. We believe that Jesus Christ came to earth to save the lost; that He was born of the virgin Mary; that He is fully God and fully man; that He gave His life as a substitutionary atonement; that He rose from the dead three days later; that He ascended to the father after being seen by more than 500 people, and now sits at the father's right hand making intercession for his church.

  4. We believe that man was originally created by God without sin; that he fell from this state through disobedience, and through that fall, all subsequent humanity has been born in total depravity - not meaning that every man is as depraved as is humanly possible, but that every part of his being has been corrupted by sin.  Consequently, man is born spiritually dead, and is therefore totally unable to repent and come to God in faith without having first been called by the power of God through the Holy Spirit.

  5. We believe that salvation is the work of God alone, not by man's works or efforts; and that all who are not saved by grace, through faith, are left unto their own devices, will suffer the consequences of their own sin resulting in eternal condemnation.

  6. We believe in the unity of all saved believers in Jesus Christ; that all those who are of Christ are also of one body:  the universal church, the church invisible.

  7. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return to the earth to gather up his saints, who shall reign with him forever and ever in a new heaven and new earth.
